A man Herbert Nixon Flores, who murdered his girlfriend by stalking and shooting her in Pacoima, CA in front of his 3-year-old daughter, ran to Texas after the shooting and shot and killed himself after being chased by the authorities in Texas.

The man and women were supposed to appear for a restraining order hearing in court the day the man shot and killed 35-year-old Karen Ruiz.

All women who have been the victim of domestic violence are in danger for their lives even if they do not think their ex or partner will actually go that far.
